During your newborn session I will capture the genuine moments and the beautiful unscripted narratives that unfold the rush of emotions linked to the arrival of a baby.
No basket nor artificial settings here, but your home full of love.

Your most frequent questions
The newborn stage, when your baby is really tiny lasts approximately 2-3 weeks. It’s usually a nice moment to make very cute sleeping pictures and very intimate photos: skin to skin contact with the parents, document the first bath…
If you are interested by an early Homestory, I would advise you to book a date before the birth. It is then no problem to reschedule function of the real date of birth.
Ater 3 weeks, it´s also a very nice moment to take pictures. Your baby is more alert and awake. He/she reacts to more sounds and lights from day to day. It´s a great moment to catch the first visible connections, and to make emotional pictures of him/her looking at you.
Newborn sessions always happen in your home to capture in the most confortable and intimate way your first moments as a family of 3 (or more!).
Don‘t worry, great photos can be made anywhere!
We will discuss together what rooms are important for you (nursery, parent bedroom…), and where the daylight is coming from.
Function of that, we will define together the perfect moment and place in your home for the session.
A session Lasts approximately 2h. Sometimes a bit more. Avoid planning anything big for the rest of the day so that you don‘t have the stress of managing timings. Espescially if there are sibblings, this should be the „day activity“!
Most importantly, clothing in which you feel beautiful and yourself!
Textures are always a good idea as they photograph well, but not a must! Linen, knitted pieces, textured cotton, fluid dresses/blouses that let the light go through…
Having one extra body and shirt ready in case of milk spilling can also be helpful.
Do not hesitate to reach out to me if needed. I will be more than happy to help you.
Everyone living under the same roof is OF COURSE part of the session, wether it´s the siblings or the pets!
Extended Family like grand-parents can also participate!
The safety and well-being of your Baby is the MOST important. Your Baby sets the rythm of the session. I plan a lot of time on purpose to be able to respect his pace and his well-being.
When he/she sleeps, the cute portraits are made.
If he/she needs to eat, he/she eats while the precious breastfeeding memories are made – only if you want.
If he/she cries, he/she cries. The session can always be paused, but I also know from experience that in those small „transition moments“ magical connections happen and some of the best photos are made.
Absolutely nothing big to prepare! The session should be as easy as possible for you!
If you want you can still:
Increase a bit the room temperature if needed. It will allow us to take pictures of your Baby in light clothing.
Set bed sheets on which you would want to take pictures.
